documentary analysis
After watching Spellbound, I’m working to brainstorm ideas for my documentary analysis paper. I think the movie was interesting to see how a simple National Spelling Bee, which we may think nothing of, means so much to these young kids and their family. It’s something they work extremely hard for, and for most of them their parents or moms help them study for this National Competition. The movie included interviews with the children and parents. The audience saw how this championship affected not only the children, but their community and family. This week I will continue to analyze and brainstorm how this will be put together into a large analysis and purpose.
